you aren't the last knitter to finish. i'm STILLLLLL working on mine!! since APRIL!! AAAH! yours is beautiful. :)
Posted by Jen at August 31, 2005 12:19 AMStill working on mine!!! And I'm scared to think of when I started it! And please, AubN, don't remind me!!!
Posted by Pamelalala at August 31, 2005 10:45 AMIt's just gorgeous! I wore mine as a very generous scarf. I love it. Hey, it's not like you knit only on this for six months. I have plenty of stuff that didn't get finished any sooner. Oh and what's the deal with the posting explosion? You get a week off or something?
Posted by Julia at August 31, 2005 10:51 AMI'm not a shawl person either, so I made a narrower version that I use as a scarf - it's a pretty big scarf, but it gets pretty cold on the bus stop! The second Clapotis I made was even smaller, more for a decorative scarf, as it's in Bamboo. Yours looks great though! I hope Mom will like it!
Posted by Kathy at August 31, 2005 10:52 AMWow - that knitting chair IS magic!
Your Clap looks be-U-ti-ful! I can't wait to see it and make you spin in circles to show it off. (you know that's part of the deal, right?)
Yay - duckie!
Posted by nanc at August 31, 2005 11:01 AMWell, I bought yarn for my at MDSW, but have I cast on? NO! LOL. It's on my to-do list for oh... next year. LOL

Posted by meg at August 31, 2005 05:57 PMI love it! If your sweet Mama doesn't want it... I DO! ;)
Posted by Pet at August 31, 2005 10:55 PMI think it's gorgeous! And I know what you mean about getting claposessed... that thing is hard to shake!
Posted by Ann at September 1, 2005 09:28 AMYour Clapotis is beautiful! I still think I have you beat in the slow knitting department, I mean - look at all the other projects you've completed in the meantime! It would take me at least 6 months to finish, without any other projects.
Way to go!
Posted by tortoiseshelly at September 1, 2005 09:42 AMWow....I mean, really, wow. I am impressed. It's just beautiful. And 6 months is short for someone like me who does year long projects. lol :)
Great job!
