It's just gorgeous! I wore mine as a very generous scarf. I love it. Hey, it's not like you knit only on this for six months. I have plenty of stuff that didn't get finished any sooner. Oh and what's the deal with the posting explosion? You get a week off or something?

I'm not a shawl person either, so I made a narrower version that I use as a scarf - it's a pretty big scarf, but it gets pretty cold on the bus stop! The second Clapotis I made was even smaller, more for a decorative scarf, as it's in Bamboo. Yours looks great though! I hope Mom will like it!

Your Clapotis is beautiful! I still think I have you beat in the slow knitting department, I mean - look at all the other projects you've completed in the meantime! It would take me at least 6 months to finish, without any other projects.
